NUTRITION COACHING
Do any of these sound familiar?
I want to lose weight/fat but I’m not sure where to start.
I’ve lost weight/fat but I end up gaining it all back.
I work out regularly but can’t seem to lose weight.
I want to eat better but have no motivation to cook.
I have a sweet tooth and too many cravings to lose weight/fat.
My energy crashes at different times throughout the day.
I feel like I’ve tried everything.
Now imagine your life when you have control over hunger and cravings. When you can listen to your body and provide the right nutrients to keep your energy consistent throughout the day. When you fit into your old clothes and feel confident that you won’t outgrow them again.
There are a LOT of obstacles to overcome to develop healthy eating habits. It can be challenging doing it on your own. Plus, there’s so much conflicting information out there, it’s difficult to sort through. Are carbs good or bad? Is fat good or bad? Are eggs good or bad?
We built this program to address these common issues. We’ll help you build the right mindset to be confident, flexible, and healthy for the rest of your life.
What is Nutrition Coaching?
This 3-month program will focus on consistent habits and daily tasks. When moving toward a big goal, it’s important to break things down into smaller pieces. Oftentimes we get frustrated and fail when we try to do too much at once.
Every two weeks, a new habit will be introduced. Each day, you’ll have a short lesson on our app and at least one action item. These lessons will teach you everything you want to know about different nutrition and lifestyle habits, including tips to make each habit easier.
You will have consistent check-ins with your certified nutrition coach throughout the program, which will provide deeper accountability and opportunities to discuss questions and obstacles and keep you on track.
What You’ll Learn
You’ll learn how to plan your meals and balance your food intake to make sure you’re getting the proper nutrients.
This is NOT a diet. We’re not going to tell you that you must eat certain foods or eliminate others. That is not the optimal way to achieve long-term success, as you may have experienced yourself. We’ll help you build a template so you can make the best decisions for YOUR life and YOUR preferences.
App-Based
The program is based on building healthy habits. You’ll be using an app with daily lessons and reminders to keep you on track.
What most people don’t understand about nutrition and wellness is that healthy and fit people don’t get that way by a single effort, or by using a secret strategy.
The real secret: they incorporate habits CONSISTENTLY over a long period of time.
Most of us know what types of things we should be doing. But how do we put it all into action?
Habits Require REPETITION
In order to create habits, we need repetition. If you’re teaching a child dental hygiene, you don’t tell them to brush their teeth once on Saturday and then forget about it for another week. You have them practice EVERY DAY.
Sure you might miss a day here and there with different habits, but you teach your body and your mind what you want to be normal. Over time, it becomes normal.
We need to hammer home these habits in order to make them second nature. Once they’re habits, they require very little thought or effort.
How much time do you spend deciding whether or not to brush your teeth, or to put on your seatbelt? It took some practice upfront, but now it’s automatic.
Commitment
Working on your nutrition and health for a short period of time doesn’t do much good. Eat healthy for two weeks and then what?
The point of this program is to COMMIT to yourself and your health.
This doesn’t mean you’re committing to eating chicken and broccoli for the next three months. It’s designed in a way that allows you to incorporate skills into YOUR life and YOUR schedule. You’re not expected to be perfect every day. But you’re not going to build sustainable habits unless you put in some time and effort.

cONTENT ABOUT NUTRITION and FITNESS.
Before taking bStrong nutrition coaching, I never thought that much about the foods I was consuming on a daily basis. I knew there were areas where I could improve, but I didn’t have enough of a foundation to know exactly where I should be. After doing the bStrong nutrition program, I have a much clearer picture of my nutrition goals and the habits I need to maintain to achieve those goals.
What I liked about the program is the quick daily lessons which are insightful but only require a few minutes to read and take in. By doing this over the course of two weeks, you learn and implement a new nutrition habit in a slow and steady way. Some of the habits are quite challenging, but in the end, they help to identify the areas where you can improve the most. Doing the program in a group setting is great for sharing tips and tricks as well as your common experiences with each new lesson. The bStrong nutrition coaching is a really great way to establish healthy, lifelong nutrition habits!

I joined bStrong’s 3-month Nutrition Coaching Program in early January and certainly learned a lot about nutrition. But for me the most powerful lessons were about myself and my eating habits. The early parts of the program dealt with tracking, s-l-o-w-ing down when eating and dealing with emotional eating. They were all game-changers for me.
Where I come from in my world of body learning through the Alexander Technique we say that you “can’t change the habits of a lifetime overnight.” This is so true when it comes to our eating habits built up over a lifetime (which for me includes 65 years of being set in my ways). Through the weekly lessons and actions of the program, I began to really “see” what I was eating, how fast I was eating and how easily I succumbed to those damnable “cravings.” Ben, in his genuinely easy, sincere, caring and gently-encouraging way coached us to not get bogged down in trying to “get it” and hold onto it, but to practice awareness and mindfulness of our nutrition habits and try to incorporate better habits over time.
Ben stressed that there will be success and there will be down times but that we shouldn’t beat ourselves up when we go off course. I truly feel that through this program I now have the tools to improve my eating habits and my nutrition choices. The foundation is set and I have already seen the changes and improvement in my weight and overall eating health.

I love how Ben was able to break down lessons into bite-size, easy things you can do every day! I appreciated the structure and the fact that these lessons are something I can always go back to whenever I need to just focus on the basics. I was able to lose about a pound a week just by focusing and building on what I had learned from the program. I highly recommend especially for those that feel lost and not sure where to start. Ben is a great resource, approachable, and wants you to succeed in whatever your goals may be.

Previous to the Nutrition Coaching program we always wanted to eat healthy but we just didn’t know where to start and how to really eat well, so most of the time we would give up. There is so much mixed information that changes daily and it’s nearly impossible to filter it to what’s meaningful.
Ben’s program set us on a path to be knowledgeable eaters and set lifelong habits without just jumping on the next diet trend. We both now have what we need to eat healthy, feel good, and not feel like we’re constantly depriving ourselves of the occasional treat.
The lessons provide the background and science of what makes food good for your body. Truly a life-altering program! We’ve walked away with a great foundation and have learned ways to get back on track after a rough patch for a lifelong journey of healthy eating habits. We can’t recommend this program enough.

“Slow and steady wins the race; persistent, consistent, and diligent progress, even if it is somewhat slow, will produce better results than rushing to get somewhere or achieve something, as the latter can result in mistakes or may prove unsustainable or unreliable.”
That statement is a true idiom. The quick-fix diets don’t work. Slow and steady…
I highly recommend a nutritional program presented by bStrong. Sign up, dial in, and learn about eating, types of foods, exercise, healthy foods, tracking, and incorporating a food process FOR YOU that keeps you accountable to yourself. Learn a new habit, incorporate it. It’s literally as simple as writing down what you are eating. What you do with that information is up to you.
I found the program easy to follow, interesting, individual, and fun. Thanks, Ben!
